The Isaiah Berlin Association Of Latvia is honoured and delighted to announce that the fourth annual Isaiah Berlin Riga Memorial Lecture will be given this year by Michael Ignatieff—author, academic, broadcaster, and former leader of the Liberal Party of Canada.
The lecture will be given in the Splendid Palace cinema at 6.30pm on June 6th, the 103rd anniversary of Isaiah Berlin’s birth.
The title of the lecture will be: “Isaiah Berlin, the Soviet Empire and the Captive Nations”.
